His Background
Ang Kok Gei holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Universiti Malaya and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He joined the company in 2003 as Managing Director.
A visionary in operational and digital transformation, he modernized the company’s retail operations in 2007 by introducing a Barcoding & Inventory Management System. In 2012, he led the company into the digital age by venturing into e-commerce, with the mission to be Malaysia’s Largest Home Improvement Online Store. By 2015, he launched the “ecommerce2export” initiative, successfully expanding the family business across the Asia Pacific region.
Under his leadership, ATKC Hardware Trading has been recognized with multiple industry awards & achievements, including:
